Uganda Peoples Defense air force Lt. Robert Kijjali and Navy diver Petty Officer 3rd Class Alberto Alejo, assigned to the forward-deployed Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 8, remove the air supply from an umbilical used during surface-supply diving. The service members are part of a search and recovery operation being conducted for an Ilyushin 76 transport plane by Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and the government of Uganda.
