Krysteena Scales, Flying Crew Chief, make up an 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron flight crew about to depart on another mission in a C-17 Globemaster III, March 19, 2009, at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. Airman Toney hails from Long View, Texas, 1st Lt. Guthrie hails from Tulsa, Okla., Capt. Bufton is from Charleston, S.C., Capt. Nelson is from Orange, Calif., Tech. Sgt. Tascione is from Waddell, Ariz., Staff Sgt. Scales hails from Flint, Mich. All are deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
