Sailors and Marines assigned to future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) man the rails as the ship passes under the Oakland Bay Bridge during a scheduled port visit to San Francisco for the Navy’s 34th annual fleet week. During the visit, the crew is scheduled to participate in a variety of community relations projects throughout the Bay area.
