Harbor masters help guide the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) into port at Fleet Activities Yokosuka after a month-long deployment in support of Valiant Shield, a U.S.-only exercise integrating an estimated 18,000 U.S. Navy, Air Force, Army, and Marine Corps personnel, more than 200 aircraft and 19 surface ships, offering real-world joint operational experience. Shiloh, assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, in support of security and stability of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
