U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Robert Thomas gets a status update from one of his squad leaders during a mass casualty drill at the U.S. Embassy in Djibouti, March 19. The scenario took about three hours to run through and involved the 9th Provisional Security Force, embassy staff, Djiboutian military service members, police and the Expeditionary Medical Facility on Camp Lemonier.
