The setting sun silhouettes the air traffic control tower here Dec. 18, 2008. The 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing at Balad runs the tower and is the most forward-deployed Air Force wing in support of Iraq. The 332nd AEW is the modern-day unit of the famous 332nd Fighter Group, better known as the Tuskegee Airmen.
