Naval Base San Diego (NBSD) launched a campaign against drunk driving by putting up 35 "No DUI" signs around the base to keep a constant visual reminder for Sailors not to drink and drive. The idea was brought to the base by Capt. Rick Williamson, commanding officer, NBSD from his visit to Naval Station Great Lakes (NSGL). NSGL started their Task Force DUI program in 2007 where apart of the program was to hang "No DUI" signs around the base. Since the beginning of Task Force DUI, NSGL has seen a decrease in the number of DUIs. (U.S. Navy photo by Maile Baca, Naval Base San Diego Public Affairs/Released)
