The final roofing beam of the future Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center is lifted into place as part of a "topping off" ceremony. The event, part of a centuries-old construction tradition, marked a milestone in building the first completely integrated Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs health care center. Scheduled for completion in August 2010, the center will treat active-duty service members, recruits, retirees, veterans and their family members in the area of Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill.
