Aratea is an administration officer assigned to the "Raptors" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 71 embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis. John C. Stennis is in Sasebo as part of a scheduled port visit during a six-month deployment to the western Pacific Ocean.
