Aviation Technician 1st Class Richard Walsh from Columbia Falls, Mont., stationed aboard USS Eisenhower (CVN 69) and part of CNO's Rapid Innovation Cell (CRIC) gives instructions for a breakout session during a Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC) sponsored innovation workshop at Old Dominion Universities Engineering and Computational Sciences Building in Norfolk, Va., Sept. 12. The workshop was held to bring innovative Sailors, government employees and ODU staff and students together for Sailors to display, explain and offer new ideas they hope will improve the fleet.
