Soldiers with the British Army’s 5, 6, and 7 Military Intelligence Battalions, all part of 1 Intelligence Surveillance Target Acquisition Brigade, present their consensus after a critical and creative thinking application as part of exercise Phoenix Odyssey, Sept. 9, 2014. The soldiers broke into small groups to create a solution for a scenario presented by 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force. For the first three training days of Phoenix Odyssey, the Marines are presenting their British counterparts with classes on their Structured Analytic Techniques. The following six days will consist of a scenario-driven field exercise to increase familiarity with the techniques and strengthen bilateral capabilities. (Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
