    U.S. Coast Guardsmen assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Kakui, transport new buoys to replace old ones during an aids to navigation mission Sept. 2, 2014, at Midway Atoll, Hawaii. The Coast Guard crew of the Kukui inspected, maintained or replaced 12 buoys during the mission. Buoys need to be inspected every two years and need to replaced every six years.
