Iraqi Col. Rassoul (left), commander of the 1st Battalion, 8th National Police Brigade, 2nd NP Division, gives a local man a blanket during a combined foot patrol in the city of Beladiyat, Feb. 27, in the 9 Nissan District of eastern Baghdad. The NP officers partnered with Paratroopers assigned to Company D, 2nd Bn., 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division—Baghdad to check the area for trouble and assist the local citizens.
