    2-162 Infantry Battalion

U.S. Navy Seabee, Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Hidalgo Garcia de la Cruz (SCW), Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Two Five (NMCB 25), Task Force Ultimus, holds a rope stage sling in place, while another Seabee connects the screw pin anchor shackle to the rope's swivel hook. NMCB 25 emplaced the concrete jersey barriers as part of a force protection mission identified by U.S. Central Command on the evening of Aug. 31, 2014, in Kabul, Afghanistan. The concrete barriers assist in increasing the stand-off distance between vehicles and personnel for safety purposes. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Capt. Leslie Reed/Released).
