Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Sabiniewicz, logistics noncommissioned officer in charge, 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, acts as an interpreter for Zbigniew Ptak, the mayor of Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland, during the ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising Aug. 1. The ceremony included representatives from the U.S. Army's 173rd Airborne Brigade, the Royal Canadian Regiment and the Polish army's 6th Airborne Brigade that were training near Drawsko Pomorskie in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The operation includes combined training exercises with U.S., Polish, Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian military forces to foster cohesive relationships and demonstrate a commitment to NATO obligations.
