A Marine and civilian law enforcement officer with the Provost Marshal's Office react to a possible hostage situation during a training exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Aug. 26, 2014. The training simulated an active-shooter scenario and hostage situation to help members of Cherry Point's law enforcement train and prepare for real life scenarios. The exercise also helped Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing validate the air station's active-shooter response plan.
