Marines with Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron 22 (VMX-22) stand at a static display of an MV-22 Osprey aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) to speak to visitors from the U.S. Consulate about aircraft during at ship tour at Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, Aug. 7, 2014. The visitors saw several static displays hosted by Marines showcasing the capabilities that Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South brings to the Ship. The Marines with SPMAGTF-South are embarked aboard America on her maiden transit “America Visits the Americas.” The transit aims to demonstrate the capabilities that the Navy-Marine Corps team brings to our nation and partners, and to further the bond between the U.S. and Brazil.
