A Soldier with the Warrior Transition Battalion, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, gives a final salute to Spc. Donnell Hamilton Jr. during a memorial service at Fort Sam Houston's main post chapel July 31. Hamilton was assigned to and deployed with Company D, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas, as an armored crewman before an illness sent him to the WTB.
