Leadership of the 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, prepare the landing zone for their Soldiers returning from the field at Fort McCoy, Wis., Aug. 6. Moments later, UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters extracted infantry troops in the field training on basic infantry tasks. “The training focused on squad, platoon and company level tasks which helped to sharpen and refine soldiering skills,” said Company A Commander Capt. Michael Dempewolf of Bellevue, Iowa. All subordinate battalions of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, were at Fort McCoy to complete their two-week annual training.
