Amphibious Assault Vehicles belonging to 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, enter the well-deck of the USS Kearsarge during well-deck qualifications in the waters off the coast of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 31, 2014. The exercise gave the battalion a chance to qualify for amphibious operations by boarding and deploying from a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship.
