The Coast Guard Cutter Eagle departs Rockland, Maine, Aug. 4, 2014, heading out to sea with a fresh crew of new cadets aboard during their summer trip. Known as Swab Summer, these newly-reported cadets go through an intense seven-week indoctrination into Coast Guard life before formally beginning at the academy.
