Romeo Verdeflor, Combat Logistics Battalion 22, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) instructor and native of Greenwood, S.C., dons safety equipment before sparring aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) as part of a MCMAP course.
