Capt. Hayes Preston, the brigade intelligence officer for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 58th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Maryland National Guard, directs foot traffic at the Federal Center Southwest Metro station in Washington D.C. after inauguration ceremonies for President Elect Barack Obama Tuesday, Jan. 20. The station was overwhelmed by spectators exiting the ceremonies, and D.C. police asked the Maryland Guard for assistance with crowd control.
