Navy Cmdr. Curtis Price, the deputy assistant chief of staff for religious ministries on Parris Island, reads an award situation for Navy Capt. Bryan Weaver, the depot command chaplain, July 18, 2014, on Parris Island, S.C. Weaver earned the John H. Craven Servant Leadership Award for his selfless service through his career as a naval chaplain. The annual award is peer nominated and named after Chaplain John H. Craven for his selfless dedication to providing support for Marines and sailors through some of the worst battles of World War II and Korea. Price is from Lebanon, Tenn.
