Louisiana Army National Guard Soldiers from the 528th Engineer Battalion in Monroe, La., react to Soldiers portraying frustrated workers who have recently been laid off from their jobs during the unit's annual Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise at Ouachita High School in Monroe, La. The exercise simulated the closing of a company which will cost hundreds of locals workers their jobs. The Soldiers trained in vehicle searches and diversion and riot control tactics with Louisiana State Police Troop F during the January drill activities.
