A Washington, D.C. police officer deputizes Soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 175th Infantry Regiment, Maryland National Guard, Monday, Jan. 20, for assistance with the inaugural ceremonies for President Elect Barack Obama. More than 1,000 MDARNG Soldiers were deputized to provide security for the event.
