Soldiers of Section 2, Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 119th Artillery Regiment, Michigan Army National Guard, fire a howitzer at Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Mich., July 17. It is a rule that all howitzers in Charlie Battery have a name starting with the letter "C" and the soldiers of section 2 have Cthulhu, the God of destruction. The battery is one of many participating in the almost three-week annual training, where they will conduct scenario based training to include live-fire exercises, logistical operations and counter-IED training, collaboratively known as eXportable Combat Training Capability.
