A U.S. Marine supervises as a Republic of Korea Marine fires the M2 .50 caliber Browning machine gun from a Humvee during moving live-fire training June 18 as part of Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-8 at the Susungri Range in Pohang, South Korea. The training gave the Marines a better perspective on the difficulties of firing from moving vehicles. KMEP 14-8 is one iteration in a series of combined training exercises that enhances the combat readiness and interoperability of ROK and U.S. forces. The U.S. Marine is with 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve. The ROK Marine is with Military Police Company, 1st ROK Marine Division.
