Staff Sgt. Bret Richardson, an infantryman from 1st Squadron, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, hands a Latvian child his first hot Meal Ready-to-Eat at a summer camp in Ergli, Latvia, July 9. Paratroopers with the 1st Sqdn., 91st Cav. Regt., based at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, offered campers a glimpse into Army life, their equipment, meals and physical readiness training. Approximately 600 paratroopers from the brigade are in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an unscheduled land-forces exercise to demonstrate commitment to NATO obligations and sustain interoperability with allied forces.
