The image shows a paleontological field jacket — a fossil specimen encased in a plaster jacket lined with black plastic sheeting, placed on a wooden surface. The top of the jacket has been opened or partially removed, revealing the fossil material embedded in matrix (sedimentary rock) inside. A handwritten label is partially visible in the lower left corner, and a yellow scale reference card reading 'ACTUAL SIZE' is visible in the background.

The skull of a Tarbosaurus baatar, which is being returned to Mongolia, is pictured. On July 10, 2014, in a formal ceremony in Manhattan, ICE and the Justice Department returned to the Mongolian government the fossilized remains of over 18 dinosaur skeletons, including two Tyrannosaurus bataar skeletons that were unlawfully taken from Mongolia.
