Onterio Theus, arm controller, Company B, 299th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, maneuvers the remote-controlled, 30-foot hydraulic arm of a Buffalo Mine Protected Clearance Vehicle to expose a buried explosive device during route clearance training, June 5, 2014. “I’m not worried about setting off the explosive,” said Theus. “Because the point of the Buffalo arm is that it can set it off without endangering anyone in the vehicle.”
