From left, a switch for an infrared locator, a printed prototype of a folding grappling hook, and a battery hookup for a universal serial bus are a few of the devices that have been prototyped in the Kandahar Rapid Equipping Force forward lab over the last year at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.
