Sgt. Nathan Phelps embraces his wife, Kalan, and one-year-old daughter Peyton for the first time in nine months upon returning from a deployment to Afghanistan. Phelps was a member of a personal security detachment team that deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
