An Iraqi special operations forces Soldier performs a wrist lock hold on a fellow student while practicing hand-to-hand combat maneuvers in December. Hand-to-hand combat is one of the courses offered at the newly established Iraqi Special Warfare Center and School in Baghdad, Iraq. The course offers Soldiers defensive options to help ensure mission success should their weapons fail during a struggle in an urban environment.
