Marines and members of Sports Car Club of America wait to be motioned to head down foxtrot runway during SCCAs autocross event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 21. During the event participants traveled at top speeds to test themselves and their cars as they ripped down the runway for the fastest time. The SCCA is a premier sports car club for sports car enthusiasts, providing participants the opportunity to race cars in safe, controlled environments.
