A US military-built classroom at La Guázara, Dominican Republic, was among the buildings constructed in the Barahona province as part of joint-military exercise "Beyond the Horizon 2014." Dominican Republic’s 5th Infantry Brigade, stationed at Barahona, and the 1st Infantry Brigade, stationed at Santo Domingo, as well as military representatives from Canada, Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Peru were also actively involved in the mission.
