Miracle would not let Walker, a Savannah, Ga. native and a member of the 810th Med. Co./49th MMB Charleston, S.C., out of her sight while waiting to be seen by the optometrist. The purpose of the civil-military program IRT SC14 is to improve military readiness while providing quality medical services at no cost to residents of Southern Illinois.
