Staff Sgt. Jason Kendrick, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 36th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, fires his weapon down range, Jan 2, while participating in the stationary phase of reflexive fire training with his unit at Arizola range on Camp Slayer. During this phase, Soldiers stands in one spot with their weapons at the low ready position and await the command of 'Ready, Up'. When the command is given, it lets the Soldiers know to raise their weapons toward the targets, fire two well-aimed rounds, and then return the weapons to the low ready position.
