An Iraqi policeman mans his security post out side the Rawah District Headquarters building, Dec. 23, 2008. "As the Marines pull back [Iraqi police] are moving forward in every aspect of security," explained Lt. Col. Tariq Subhi Hussayn, Rawah chief of Police. Marines with Task Force 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5 are currently assessing the capabilities and limitations of the Iraqi security forces.
