Families of paratroopers with the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division came out to Malemute Drop Zone to observe their paratroopers compete in the spot jump event, where parachutists attempted to land in a small target area on Malemute Drop Zone as part of Sparta Week June 17, 2014, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Sparta Week is a celebration of Spartan paratroopers and families. The week’s activities will include several sporting events and a Family Fun Day and barbecue. (Photo by U.S. Army Sgt.
