Pvt. 1st Class Brandon Pillen, a native of Olmstead, Ohio, provides security during a school supply drop in Bassam, northwest of Baghdad, Dec. 29, 2008. Soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry "Wolfhounds," attached to 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment "Strykehorse," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, conducted a school supply drop at the Al-Sayeb school where they were met by the students of the school with open arms. The Soldiers donated backpacks, pens, tablets and soccer balls. Pillen is an infantryman assigned to Co. C, 1st Bn., 27th Inf. Regt. 2nd SBCT.
