Sgt. James Bowhay, a cavalry scout assigned to Troop C, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, touches base with Iraqi national police patrolmen from the 1st Battalion, 3rd Aburisha Bde., before combined cordon and search operations, Dec. 30, in the Rashid District's Abu T'shir community of southern Baghdad. The Soldiers partnered with the 3rd "Feather" Brigade to search for weapons and munitions in the predominately Shia community, as part of ongoing efforts to enforce Baghdad's Fardh al Qanoon, or Rule of Law. Under the government of Iraq's Weapons-Free Policy, Iraqi citizens may only have one rifle or pistol, if they have a weapons permit.
