Pieces of ceramic ceiling tile and rubble lay in the hallway of the police academy in Tal Afar, Iraq. The academy was damaged during recent fighting to rid the city of terrorists. In an effort to begin rebuilding the city, civil affairs Soldiers and engineers are assessing the extent of the damage and compiling a list of projects to assist the residents of Tal Afar as they being to repair their city.
