Lt. Col. Brian Eifler, a Farmington Hills, Mich., native, speaks about Pfc. Coleman Hinkefent during a memorial ceremony Dec. 29 for the Oklahoma native at Joint Security Station Old MOD. Hinkefent, who was a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, Task Force 1-6, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, which is currently attached to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, died Dec. 20 after a short battle with Leukemia that developed while he was deployed to Iraq. Eifler commands Task Force 1-6.
