Sailors with the visit board search and seizure (VBSS) team, USS San Diego, stand alert in a rigid inflatable boat (RIB) as it maneuvers near the fishing vessel Diane G. as part of a maritime interdiction operations (MIO) training exercise conducted during Certification Exercise (CERTEX ) off the coast of Southern California, June 11, 2014. CERTEX is the final evaluation of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group prior to deployment.
