ALI BASE, Iraq-Heavy rains Christmas Day seeped into wiring that served half of the 407th Air Expeditionary Group headquarters building and shorted out.
Airmen from the 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineering Squadron's electric shop went to work, digging a 150-foot trench and laying fresh wire.
Master Sgt. John Gaskill, electric shop noncommissioned officer in charge, adds some distance to the strip length of the cable so there's plenty of room to work with when the separate wires are routed to the correct post in the breaker box.
