An Orlando police officer plays the part of service member who is an active shooter inside the 1st Lt. David R. Wilson Armed Forces Reserve Center during a training exercise, May 7. This exercise marked the first combined effort to plan, coordinate and execute active shooter training event between the City of Orlando Police Department and 143d ESC Force Protection Team. The exercise simulated three active shooters inside the reserve center filled with more than 100 working Department of Defense civilians and military personnel. Over 40 OPD officers participated and responded to training event.
