Brig. Gen. J.T. Thomson, the 4th Infantry Division deputy commanding general for support, looks on as citizens of the town of Montebourg, France, execute a ceremony June 5 to commemorate their town’s liberation by the 4th Infantry Division in June 1944. Paratroopers of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division are in France as a part of Task Force Normandy 70 to assist with multiple ceremonies commemorating the historic event and honoring those who fought in it.
