Lance Cpl. Tom M. Enright, center rear, unsettles the footing of Yoshiya Sakumoto May 31 during the annual Henoko Okinawa-Style Sumo Tournament at Mae-No-Hama field in Henoko. During a bout, a competitor tries to earn points by making the opponent to fall into the “dohyo,” or sandy pit, without striking or letting go of each other’s belts. The first to gain two points is the winner. Enright is a Deadwood, S.D., native and electro-optical ordnance repairer with Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
