Iraqi Capt. Hadi (left), 8th Brigade, 2nd National Police Division financial officer, pays a Sons of Iraq member his monthly salary at Joint Security Station Beladiyat, Dec. 18. Hadi paid 80 SoI and Daughters of Iraq members 354,000 Iraqi dinars each, about $300 in U.S. currency. December marked the second consecutive month the Government of Iraq paid SoI salaries since accepting the responsibility Oct. 1.
